Black Forest Brownies
Recipe Yield: one 18 x 26-inch sheet pan

If you've seen one Pillsbury brownie, you haven't seen them all.
4  large  Whole eggs
2  tsp.  Almond extract
3  lb.  Cherry fruit pie filling
1  box (6 lb.)  Pillsbury Deluxe Brownie Mix
2  cups  Almonds, sliced natural
  • Place eggs and almond extract in mixer bowl; mix in low speed using a paddle for 1 minute.
  • Add cherry fruit pie filling and brownie mix. Mix in low speed for 30 seconds; scrape bowl and paddle. Continue mixing in low speed for 1 minute.
  • Spread batter evenly in 18 x 26-inch sheet pan which has been greased on bottom only; sprinkle with almonds.
  • Bake according to package directions. Cool completely. Garnish each serving with a maraschino cherry or drizzle with Chocolate Fudge Glaze.
  • Chocolate Fudge Glaze - Heat 1 cup (9 oz.) Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Ready-to-Spread Icing to drizzling consistency.
