Strawberry and Cream Tartan
Recipe Yield: 6 Tartans (60 Pieces)

Features Pillsbury Vanilla Tartan, Cheesecake Filling Mix, Vanilla Mousse Mix and Strawberries!
6    Pillsbury Vanilla Tartan
1/4  cup  Cool Water (70-75 degrees F.)
1/4  cup  Corn Syrup
1  cup  Confectioner's Sugar
6  cups  Cold Milk (40-50 degrees F.)
6  cups (1/2 bag)  Cheesecake Filling Mix
1 1/2  cups (1/2 pkg)  Vanilla Mousse Mix
1 1/2  cups  Strawberries, chopped (no sugar added)
1  cup  Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Vanilla Icing
6  cups  Whipped Topping
60  each  Strawberries, sliced as fans or quartered (with greens on)
  • Place tartan on sheet pan.
  • Combine corn syrup and 1/4 cup cool water and dissolve completely.
  • Spray or brush tartan with simple syrup - approximately 1/2 oz. per tartan.
  • Dust entire tartan on sheet pan.
  • Combine 6 cups cold milk, cheesecake mix and mousse mix in mixer bowl; blend on low speed until evenly moistened using whip attachment, about 1 minute.
  • Scrape bowl; whip at high speed 6-8 minutes.
  • Fold in chopped strawberries.
  • Portion 3 1/2 cups filling per tartan; chill.
  • Warm Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Vanilla Icing over low heat or in microwave oven (30-50 seconds), stirring to achieve drizzling consistency. Do not over heat.
  • Place whipped topping (1 1/2 cups per tartan) in star tipped pastry bag and pipe decorative edge on top edge of tartan.
  • Place 10 strawberry garnishes to indicate portions.
