Brownie Macaroonies
Recipe Yield: One 18 x 26-inch sheet pan

Deluxe Brownie Mix with coconut and walnuts.
2 3/4  cups  Hot water (120 degrees F.)
1  box (6 lb.)  Pillsbury Deluxe Brownie Mix
10  cups (2 lb.)  Coconut, flaked
2  cups (8 oz.)  Walnuts, coarsely chopped
5 1/4  cups (3 lb. 8 oz.)  Sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • Pour water into mixer bowl; add brownie mix. Mix according to package directions.
  • Spread batter evenly in 18 x 26-inch sheet pan which has been greased on bottom only; sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all ingredients.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F in a conventional oven (300 degree F in a convection oven) 30 to 40 minutes or until set and light golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into bars or squares. Garnish with drizzled Vanilla Glaze, if desired.
  • Variation - Substitute 2 cups (12 oz.) chocolate chips for the walnuts.
  • Vanilla Glaze - Heat 1 cup (9 oz.) Pillsbury Vanilla Ready-To-Spread Icing to drizzling consistency.
