Picante Roasted Turkey and Pepper Sandwich
Recipe Yield: 4 Servings

Foster Farms Turkey, sliced green chilies, roasted red peppers, sliced pepper jack cheese, and romaine lettuce served on jalapeño cheese bread spread with Buffalo Mayonnaise Spread and topped with freshly chopped cilantro.
12  Oz.  Foster Farms Turkey Breast, thin shaved
8  Slices  Jalapeño cheese bread, thickly sliced
2  Whole  Red bell peppers, roasted
4  Whole  Pearl tomatoes, sliced
12  Each  Green chilies, sliced
1  Cup  Romaine lettuce, chopped
4  Each  Pepper Jack cheese, sliced
1/2  Cup  Fresh cilantro, chopped
8  Tbsp.  * Buffalo Mayonnaise Spread
2  Cups  Mayonnaise
1  Cup  Buffalo Sauce, prepared
   (Optional) Warm tortilla chips and fruit salsa
  • Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
  • On each side of bread spread one tablespoon Buffalo Mayonnaise Spread.
  • Top each bottom half with 3 oz. turkey breast and 1 slice cheese.
  • Place each half on a baking sheet and bake until cheese melts and other side of bread is lightly toasted.
  • Remove from oven and add ½ roasted bell pepper, 3 slices tomatoes, 3 slices green chilies, ¼ cup chopped romaine, and 1/8 cup chopped fresh cilantro to each sandwich.
  • Top with toasted remaining piece of bread.
  • Cut each sandwich in half on a diagonal.
  • Serve with warm tortilla chips and fruit salsa if desired.

  • In a bowl, mix all ingredients together well. Cover, label and date, and hold under refrigeration until needed.
