Turkey Fondue Melt
Recipe Yield: 4 Servings

Two slices of toasted olive herb bread dressed with a savory garlic and chive aioli. Topped with thinly sliced Turkey Breast, sliced ripe red tomatoes, and a warm fondue cheese sauce. Garnished with crisp crumbled applewood smoked bacon.
12  Oz.  Foster Farms Turkey Breast, thin shaved
8  Slices  Olive herb artisan bread, thick sliced
4  Large  Pearl tomatoes, sliced
4  Slices  Applewood smoked bacon, crumbled
1   Cup  Fondue cheese spread or other prepared cheese, warmed
8  Tbsp.  *Garlic and Chive Aioli
   (Optional) Mixed berries or red grapes for garnish
   * Garlic and Chive Aioli
1/4  Cup  Mayonnaise
1  Clove  Garlic, minced
3  Tbsp.  Fresh chives, chopped
1  Tsp.  Sea salt
1  Tsp.  Fresh cracked pepper
  • Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
  • Toast bread slices in oven until lightly crisp on the edges, about 5-8 minutes. Remove from oven and place 2 pieces of bread per platter.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon aioli to each side of bread.
  • Add 3 oz. turkey breast meat, 3 slices tomato and gently pour ¼ cup warmed cheese over each half.
  • Sprinkle bacon pieces over each half, the equivalent of 1 slice per sandwich and serve.
  • The sandwich cools quickly so it can be reheated by re-placing in the oven for 2 minutes.
  • Mixed berries or red grapes can be served on the side if desired.
  • * Garlic and Chive Aioli
  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and let sit under refrigeration 30 minutes before use.
