A new ethnic twist on the Italian panini combines sliced turkey, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and Dijon mustard on a hoagie roll.
Ingredients:
8 Oz.
Foster Farms Turkey Breast, thin sliced
3 Oz.
Foster Farms Turkey Ham, thin sliced
4 Rolls
Hoagie rolls or can be featured on pretzel rolls
4 Tbsp.
Mayonnaise
4 Tbsp.
Dijon mustard
4 Slices
Swiss cheese, sliced
12 Slices
Bread and butter pickles
3 Small
Tomato, sliced
Instructions:
Heat sesame oil in a small sauté pan.
Heat a griddle surface to medium heat.
Split roll in half. Spread 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise and 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard on roll.
Place 2 oz. sliced turkey and evenly distribute thinly sliced ham over the turkey on roll.
Add 1 slice Swiss cheese and 3 pickles on each sandwich.
Add 2 to 3 tomato slices on top of the pickles. Place top half of hoagie roll on the sandwich.
Lightly butter the outside of roll. Place sandwich on griddle surface and press down using a heavy skillet until bottom is lightly browned. Flip sandwich over and repeat.
Slice sandwich on a bias and serve. Repeat for other three sandwiches.
